There are some incredible mountains around these parts, and my husband gives me a hard time 'cause I rarely paint them. (Too pretty. ;)  ) 

Then I remembered this from-an-airplane photo...,so, here you go, dear, a mountain. :) Mt. Hood, to be specific.

I took this photo as we descended into Portland a few Augusts ago, when the snow-cover is least. I've tried painting it before and failed miserably - things went much better this time. :)
