79. Summer Red

'Summer Red'
6" x 6"
oil on gessoboard

I painted a little Summer today - I am so ready for it!
Also, it's been too long since I painted something red. :)

This handsome barn is snuggled into the foothills of Mt. St. Helens in WA.
I am so envious of its rolling fields and southern exposure.
Also, this is one of the first barns I've seen that doesn't have a 'face'.
That's all right - it still looks cheerful to me.
And warm! :)

fantastic Nora! Even the thumbnail looks crisp and perfect. I love it when I find a way to paint something red!!
