One of my favorite places in the Pacific Northwest; the Columbia River Gorge.

The lavender fields in the foreground are in Washington; in the distance, the sunlit ridges of Oregon. 

Somewhere beyond the trees, the mighty Columbia rolls along toward the setting sun.
